Our client
SFR is a French telecommunications operator, part of the telecoms activities of the Altice France group created in 1987. It is historically the second of four French national telephone operators.

At the end of 2017, SFR provisionally represented the second French operator in terms of market share behind Orange; During this period, the company had 14.378 million mobile customers, 5.943 million households subscribed to the Internet, including 2.231 million households subscribed to very high speed broadband, more than 250 operator customers and 150,000 business and administration customers.

For its own needs, SFR operates several local Edge data centers in France in particular. These 5G sites include medium and small Edge buildings.
Our mission
Ingemep was commissioned by its partner Rentaload to manage the commissioning tests (T&C) of several SFR 5G sites.
These tests aim to validate at full load the proper functioning of the installations implemented in relation to the requirements of the end customer thanks to load banks simulating the heating of the servers according to defined operating scenarios.
Given the number of sites, the testing process was automated, which made it possible to optimize all of the tests and the associated overall planning.
